Home Life Department

TTWC conducted a door-to-door campaign within the City of Temple Terrace for donations to the “Crusade for Cancer” for thirteen years from 1961 through 1974. The “Connie Newton Award” was won by The Club four times and the trophy was given to The Club for outstanding coverage and total donations received.  A Blood Bank was established for citizens of Temple Terrace by members in 1965. In 1969 a $1,000 donation furnished a room at the Salvation Home.

The Home Life's current projects as follows:

Fabric shopping bags being made to re-place plastic bags. We are saving our planet one bag at the time.
