TTWC conducted a door-to-door campaign within the City of Temple Terrace for donations to the “Crusade for Cancer” for thirteen years from 1961 through 1974. The “Connie Newton Award” was won by The Club four times and the trophy was given to The Club for outstanding coverage and total donations received.
